
The Public Health Practice – Comprehensive Primary Health Care (PHP-CPHC) concentration fosters an understanding of contemporary public health practice, based on comprehensive primary health care principles and the whole-of-society analysis approach, for both global and local public health issues. This concentration will enable students to focus on social determinants of health, environmental health and personalized healthcare that integrates public health with access to high quality patient-centred health care.
The concentration underscores the importance of applying a systematic methodology to tackle public health challenges, and employs theoretical frameworks in risk perception and decision-making to enhance risk communication effectiveness.
